Project Engineer (On site)

Project Engineer – Electrical Underground Cable Works (11kv, 33kv, 132kv)

1. Project Planning & Coordination:

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining the timeline, resources, budget, and scope of work for underground electrical cable installations.
• Coordinate with internal teams (experience in managing foreign workers is an added advantage), subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of tasks according to the project plan.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements (established experience with TNB/Local councils is an added advantage).
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, and manage project milestones to meet deadlines.
• Prepare detailed progress reports for stakeholders, including updates on project status, challenges, and resolutions.

2. Design and Technical Oversight:

• Review technical specifications, drawings, and designs for electrical underground cable installations.
• Ensure that all installations meet industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting on-site, including resolving issues with cable routing, trenching, or equipment.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress and identify potential issues or risks.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to resolve technical issues and keep the project on track.
