Project Engineer (Civil)

Employment Location: Subang, Selangor
Salary Package: RM 3,200 – RM 4,200
Working Days: Mon – Fri
Working Time: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

1. To diligently manage and ensure a profitable and successful completion of the project.
2. To execute & monitor the project site in terms of civil, structure & architecture works, which includes site planning & coordination, material order & delivery, and stock control.
3. To ensure the project meets the stipulated quality requirements by closely monitoring and supervising the work of the subcontractors and supervisors, and to take appropriate actions timely to remedy any shortcomings.
4. To attend all project site meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, authorities, etc., and to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
5. To prepare monthly Project Progress Reports for submission to clients, consultants, or the Management.
6. To manage all subordinates on the respective project site.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3. Candidate with experience in site management, planning, civil, structure, architecture, and QA/QC works would have an added advantage.
4. Experience in handling power substations is preferable.
5. Applicants must be willing to travel.
6. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, writing skills, be computer literate, and able to work under minimum supervision.
7. Good working attitude, ability to organize, plan, meet deadlines, work well under pressure, and willingness to work long hours when required.
