Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

• To understand and execute the project-based ITB requirement and ensure the overall project construction activities follow relevant ISO, Project Standard Working Procedure, and Quality Management System.
• To execute the project and all related activities based on approved documents/drawings.
• To support on project kick-off meeting among managers and engineers involved in project execution and explain generally the scope of work requirements as specified in the final contract document, organization, line of communication, project document, etc. Periodical to conduct meetings with particular project personnel and/or with clients whenever required.
• To coordinate and establish the overall construction schedule and identify critical work activities and analyze the project progress versus project schedule planned on a regular basis in order to meet project schedule requirements.
• To monitor, control and analyze overall construction progress for each work category and take proper and immediate actions as required. Inform all relevant parties to take immediate action once any possible delay is identified.
• To prepare summary and detail costing/working budget for the construction activity to management or project manager for approval.
• To verify any work progress claim and invoices received from consultants, subcontractors & vendors, etc.
• Obtains all necessary client approval.
• To study and understand purchased equipment/material/requisition/subcontract/purchase order including overall contract document.
• To execute the project by working together with a group of engineering manager, procurement manager, project controller, and commissioning manager.
• To work with a group of project engineer/superintendent, and lead a group of supervisors for construction.
• To produce process claim according to the progress milestone whenever necessary.
• To produce change notice preparation and variation order if there is any.

Job Purpose:

• Support the Project Manager and represent the company during project execution, maintaining official communication with the client and other relevant parties.
• Define and understand the project scope and objectives, including the client’s contract terms and conditions outlined in the contract document.
• Assist the Project Manager in managing all project personnel matters and resolving issues related to construction activities.
