Project Engineer

Responsible for overseeing and managing electrical construction and installation projects involving 275kV/132kV/33kV/11kV substation and cable works from inception to completion. This includes coordinating HV/MV resources, managing site construction, ensuring safety and quality standards, and adhering to projects timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily operations of electrical construction projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
2. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to meet project requirements and resolve issues.
3. Enforce safety standards, conduct inspections, and address hazards. Ensure necessary permits and documentation are maintained.
4. Ensure electrical installations meet design specs and quality standards. Inspect work and address deficiencies.
5. Attend site and progress meetings.
6. Serve as primary contact for project updates, progress reports, and addressing client concerns.
7. Maintain accurate records of project work, changes, and materials used. Submit progress reports and ensure up-to-date documentation.
8. Prepare monthly site and progress reports.
9. Resolve on-site issues promptly, troubleshoot electrical problems, and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.

Qualifications

1. At least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in electrical project management or a supervisory role in the electrical industry preferably in the high voltage projects involving 132kV substations.
3. Experience with electrical systems, construction processes, and safety protocols.

4. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
