You will be responsible for project management activities related to Renewable Energy, Solar, BESS projects.
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES
Coordinating with other project staff, including project planning, cost control, information management and document control to successfully implement the project.
Establish and lead the PMO team with standards, procedures, and performance measures including cost estimating, scheduling, cost management, document control, information management, risk management, and independent change order reviews.
Be a technically oriented person and knowledgeable on the project details, processes and ensuring that project schedules and budgets are met on time, profitable and in compliance to company/client quality standards.
Organise project logistics, project schedules, technical submissions, budgets, safety compliance, issues request for quotations from vendors and follow up with purchase orders.
Interface with project owner as a point of contact to answering and updating enquiries including internal participants.
Maintain a detailed list of documents and track timely project milestones/update progress reports and documentation of important documents such as Master Project Schedule/Dos (product deliveries/installations checklists)/ endorsed Handover list / invoices.
Highlight and address potential issues.
Monitor, control, and release requests for invoicing based on instructions from Project Manager.
Track project expenses and coordinate with Finance on project as against original budget plan.
Liaise with Customer Support Team on project sites warranty monitoring.
Control stock, perform stock order and keep accurate inventory balances.
Perform daily site management and supervision.
Manage relations with local authority and ensure all work carried out are in accordance to regulations.
Provide and coordinate engineering support as needed.
Perform any ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor as and when required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
At least 2 years of work experience in Electrical industry or Solar industry.
Possession of Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) certification will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of photovoltaic system design, engineering, system components optimization starting from Generation (PV modules) to Point of Interconnection (POI).
Project management skills and experience.
Ability to read single-line drawings, three-line drawings, basic general arrangement drawings, site layout drawings, construction drawings, assembly drawings, structural drawings.
Knowledge in PVSYST and AutoCAD.
Possess own transportation and willing to travel when required.
Resourceful and possess strong organizational, analytic skills and critical thinking in problem-solving/decision making.
Language required: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese is an advantage.
Must be able to travel or locate at project sites in West Malaysia/Sarawak/Sabah/Brunei.
