Possess at least a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in building/construction project, or related field
Proficient knowledge in Structural Design (Concrete Structures, Steel Structures)
Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software, Structural Design and Analysis Software, and Office Suite applications
Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including the Minimum Housing Act, Uniform Building By-Laws, and other applicable acts
Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing Drawings and Specifications
Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Job Responsibilities
Plan, design, and prepare drawings within the given time frame
Coordinate with design team members to ensure consistency between structural and architectural drawings. Work with Quantity Surveyors to resolve any issues
Ensure tender drawings and specifications are accurate and complete
Update, compile, and maintain records of in-house tender and construction drawings
Prepare meeting minutes for site and coordination meetings
Inspect works and materials to ensure compliance with tender and construction specifications and drawings
Review monthly progress reports submitted by contractors
Analyze complex information and propose practical solutions
Plan, execute, and manage projects efficiently
Collaborate effectively with team members and contractors
Communicate clearly with team members and contractors, both verbally and in writing
