PROJECT ENGINEER

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at TSH (M&E) SDN BHD. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our engineering projects, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards within the agreed timelines and budget.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of engineering projects.
2. Coordinating and overseeing the work of project team members, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient project execution.
3. Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle, and taking proactive measures to address them.
4. Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving any technical or operational challenges, and providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
5. Ensuring that all project activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and the company's quality management system.
6. Providing technical support and guidance to the project team, and collaborating with other departments to address cross-functional challenges.
7. Preparing comprehensive project reports, documentation, and presentations to effectively communicate project status and performance.

What we're looking for

1. At least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the engineering industry.
3. Good construction knowledge and capable to coordinate M&E works effectively with Sub-contractors, Consultant & Client.
4. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, methods, and best practices.
5. Proficient in using project management software and tools to track and report on project progress (e.g., AutoCAD for Engineering, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, etc.).
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
7. Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
