Project Engineer

Your new company

A multinational FMCG manufacturer in Johor is looking for a Project Engineer to support their expansion.

Your new role

1. Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, including installations, expansions, and improvements.
2. Project Management: Develop and manage timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Technical Oversight: Review and approve technical specifications, conduct feasibility studies, and perform risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses.
4. Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to implement engineering solutions and procure equipment.
5. Compliance and Communication: Ensure projects comply with industry regulations and company standards, while providing technical support and effective communication with all stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
2. 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, specialising in project management and plant layout/design. FMCG manufacturing experience is an added advantage.
3. Experience in 3D CAD, Solidworks or AutoCAD.
4. Experience in problem-solving and improvement projects in the manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
