Project Coordinator /QS

The role

We are seeking a skilled and organized Project Coordinator /QS to join our dynamic construction team at L E BUILDER SDN BHD in Melaka, Melaka. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring efficient coordination and control of all project-related activities.

What you'll be doing

1. Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project coordination and communication
2. Preparing and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and cost control measures
3. Coordinating the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
4. Conducting site inspections and monitoring project progress to identify and resolve issues
5. Preparing and maintaining accurate project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence
6. Providing quantity surveying support, such as cost estimating, measurement, and valuation of works
7. Assisting with the preparation of tender documents and the evaluation of bids
8. Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably in a similar role
2. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
4. Proficient in using project management software, spreadsheets, and other relevant construction-related tools
5. Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
6. Familiarity with construction industry regulations, standards, and best practices
