Project Coordinator (M&E)

About the role

As a Project Coordinator (M&E) at EBSB Builder Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects. Responsible for coordinating the mechanical and electrical (M&E) aspects of the projects, you will work closely with the project management team to ensure seamless execution. This full-time position is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site work and contractor activities, monitor site progress and report updates to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants & subcontractors on technical matters.
• Prepare M&E coordination drawings, installations/T&C & QAQC check sheets, work progress reports, and other relevant documents for M&E related works with project teams.
• Ensure quality installation of M&E works as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Participate in project coordination meetings to ensure smooth workflow.
• Attend joint inspections for testing and commissioning of M&E installations.
• Liaise and work with relevant subcontractors on submission for shop drawings, equipment, or materials inspection, testing requirements, and commissioning.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar project coordinator or M&E coordinator role in the construction industry.
