Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Attend to reporting, documentation, following up all sent/receive quotations, work sheet and filing duties.
  2. Updating daily sub contractor work sheet/ on site work progress and reporting to superior on daily basis.
  3. Supervise, control and coordinate construction/renovation/plumbing activities to ensure smooth execution.
  4. Able to hands-on experience on site works and project management.
  5. Able to liaise with consultant, management office and well-versed in construction techniques and issues.
  6. Liaise with sub-contractor (inclusive foreign worker) pertaining to planning, logistics, material management, construction and daily site issues.
  7. Check all construction/renovation/plumbing drawings and identify information gaps that needed further attention.
  8. Assist in material control management.
  9. Site visiting & inspection on rectification works, able to draft out the quotation for client.
  10. To work independently with minimum supervision.

Project Department

  1. Planning/ Tender/ reviews of contract and sub-contract work program or schedule and implementation strategy, negotiation with contractors and clients, contracts administration and drafting of correspondences.
  2. Responsible for claims and cost management in which able to prepare progress claims, final account, valuation of contract works and familiar with contractual claims.
  3. To work closely with relevant management related to client matters on orders or deliveries, etc.
  4. Tender and contract documents administration, prepare BQ, cost estimate and control, budgeting and evaluate the quotations accordingly to the necessary.
  5. Monitoring site valuations or measurements.
  6. Monitor budget and keep track of direct costs on project.
  7. Prepare monthly report progress claim, subcontractors’ payment certification, VO evaluation, joint measurement and project final account.

Requirements

  1. Candidate should preferably possess a Bachelor’s Degree. Post Graduate Diploma, in Quantity Surveying Engineering/Civil or others equivalent.
  2. Working Experience: Minimum 2 years in Construction/Renovation/Plumbing related field is required for this position.
  3. Computer Literates: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, PowerPoint. Knowledge in AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
  4. Salary will commemorate with experience.
  5. Possess valid driving license and own car/motorcycle.
