Project Controller (Finance)

The Project Controller (Logistics) will oversee and consolidate all Integrated Logistics Group key customers' accounts, ensuring financial stability and efficiency in project execution. This includes all credit control functions and optimizing logistics cash flows across all entities. The initial focus will be on the top 10 key integrated logistics customer accounts, spanning approximately seven countries.

The role involves accurate project accounting monitoring, managing accounts receivables, and ensuring timely receipt of prefundings and receipts. It requires efficient credit management, optimal cash flow maintenance, and effective credit risk mitigation. This position is both strategic and hands-on, demanding a proactive approach to drive structured credit control and enhance cash flow performance across the organization.

Responsibilities

1. Drive and consolidate Key customer’s account.
2. Manage project accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting.
3. Ensure prefunding is monitored & received on time.
4. Maintain payment terms within 30 days to reduce financial exposure.
5. Alert stakeholders of any red flags or potential issues.
6. Assess the credit risk associated with Key customers' accounts by ensuring that potential risks are identified early.
7. Work closely with Business Development and Operations teams to align financial strategies with business growth.
8. Partner with local finance teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
9. Work closely with our clients on all accounts receivables.
10. Support Pricing and Commercial teams in structuring customer contracts with financial safeguards.
11. Analyze all invoices billed and reconciled against customer’s report.
12. Update forecasts based on project progress and changes in scope.
13. Prepare monthly report for monthly Management meeting on debtor performance for the group.
