Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ): Prepare and issue RFIs and RFQs to potential vendors, analyzing responses to determine best fit.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements, focusing on cost, quality, and delivery.
Purchase Order Management: Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ISO procedures, and relevant regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams to align procurement activities with project needs.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
Performance Reporting: Maintain records of procurement activities and provide regular updates on supplier performance and project procurement status.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within a project-based environment.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry.
Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management.
Proficiency in multiple languages relevant to the supplier base.
