Production Supervisors

Job Description

KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for production schedule adherence, HPU improvement, cycle time improvement, inventory management, and employee development.
2. Determining resources (capacity) needed to meet production plan.
3. Comparing with available resources.
4. Managing dispatching of work orders according to the build plan.
5. Drive for workmanship and quality improvements.
6. Managing and controlling direct material usage.
7. Keeping inventories at desired level.
8. Managing employee attrition and retention.
9. Managing and coordinating key employee activities to enhance teamwork and working environment.
10. Do 'the needful' to meet or exceed our customers' expectations in compliance with the Quality Policy.
11. Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
12. Ensuring compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.
13. Meet the performance metrics (HPU, DPPM, Cycle time, Job Closure, Cross Training, Scrap / Reject and attendance.
14. Take part or to be trained on company's initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing.
15. Derive Continual Improvement.
16. Practice Risk Based Thinking in planning and execution of task.
17. Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin / Economics / IE / Production Management and related disciplines.
2. Minimum 5 years working experience in a high-volume high mix production environment managing production with at least 3 years in supervisory position. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc.
3. Experience working with Oracle/ ERP/ SAP/ MRP tools.
4. Experience working on lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects.
5. Computer software knowledge, especially in Microsoft Office.
