Production Supervisor (Based in Kota Kinabalu)

You will be responsible for monitoring daily process operation conditions and the production workers in carrying out their daily activities in the production floor. Besides dealing with the challenges that come along with this portfolio, you will also experience and contribute to our dynamic working culture. Your responsibilities will require you to communicate extensively with various stakeholders from both internally within the Company or group of companies and externally with our business partners.

Below is a synopsis of your job function:

• Develop and manage production schedules to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitor and track production process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Provide training to workers on production systems and processes as and when necessary.
• Utilizing of MRP system to forecast and plan material requirements based on production schedules and customer demand.
• Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Requirements:

Background:

• Diploma or Degree in any related field from a recognised university or college.

Experience:

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in production / manufacturing environment, with minimum 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience in material requirements planning (MRP) or inventory management is preferred.

Knowledge & Skill:

• Familiar with MRP and other production management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) applications.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills, meticulous and delivers quality work.
• Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks.
• A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details.
• A good team player and able to communicate with all levels.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
