About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our dynamic team at Coherent Malaysia Sdn Bhd. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our high-quality products. This is a full-time position based in our state-of-the-art facility in Ipoh, Perak.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and monitor industrial machinery and equipment to ensure the manufacturing process runs efficiently and safely
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and adjustments to machinery to maintain optimal performance
• Carefully follow production schedules and quality control procedures to meet production targets and maintain high standards
• Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and any issues or incidents
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

• Minimum SPM. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be added advantage
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow standardized procedures
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
