Production Operator

About the role:

Are you a skilled production operator looking for an opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading electronics manufacturer? Tanaka Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking two full-time Production Operators to join our team at our Bayan Lepas, Penang manufacturing facility.

What you'll be doing:

1. Production Support Operator:
   1. Control and inspect returned spools and casing from customers
   2. Able to operate ultra-sonic washing machine for washing working spools and commodity spools
   3. Prepare trace label for commodity spools
   4. Prepare case label for working spools
   5. Distribution of commodity spools and working spools to production
   6. Collect used spools from production for cleaning
   7. Detect and report abnormality to superior
   8. Practice good 5S and housekeeping at workplace
2. Production Operator for Drawing Section:
   1. To be trained in and perform visual inspections
   2. To perform visual inspections on both progress and finished products
   3. Operate production machinery and equipment in the section to assemble components according to standard operating procedures
   4. Detect and report abnormality to superior
   5. Practice good 5S and housekeeping at workplace

What we're looking for:

• At least 1-2 years of experience as a production operator or in a similar manufacturing role
• Minimum qualification: High school graduate (SPM)
• Basic computer and mathematical skills required
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
