• Oversee & manage the operation of Production department (Production planning, scheduling, costing & manpower management).
• Prepare Production progress weekly & monthly update.
• Assessing project and resources requirement.
• Setting productivity goals.
• Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff.
• Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary.
• Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff.
• Supervising and managing the work of junior staff.
• Determining quality control standards.
• Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency.
• Monitor & manage Production Assembly Flow.
• Organising relevant training sessions.
• Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff.
• Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
• Other duties assigned by superior from time to time.
