Production Manager (Road Furniture)

Job Description:

1. Fully responsible for the factory operations including planning, coordinating & controlling the quality, efficiency and test of production.
2. Responsible for the production floor to design and establish the street lighting pole production, steel beam for highway guardrails, high mast, stadium mast, traffic signs and others.
3. To ensure product lines are set up efficiently while ensuring quality, cost & deadline objectives are met.
4. Responsible for Production Department operations to achieve company goals.
5. To plan, organize, direct, and guide in accordance with achieving organizational goals and objectives.
6. Organizing and managing all aspects of resources within, including optimizing expenditure costs to meet both monthly production targets and monthly budgeted costs.
7. Liaise closely with related departments in ensuring smooth running of production in terms of productivity, yield loss control, rejects and delivery lead time.
8. Liaise with suppliers and maintenance department to ensure availability of critical spare parts, conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule and corrective maintenance to ensure machines are in safe and good condition.
9. To initiate, revise and highlight standard operating procedures from time to time and ensure adherence to all SOPs at all times.
10. Responsible for production line, process improvement, Kaizen project and Gemba kaizen.
11. To provide, motivate and guide the production Executive, Supervisor, and line leader and their work progress.
12. Develop, propose training needs and train the employees to upgrade skills and knowledge.
13. Ensure all workers likely to be exposed to chemical hazards to health are provided with information, instructions and training.
14. To ensure a good safety environment and HIRARC and precautionary measures are maintained.
15. Ensure production shop floor complies with local authority rules and regulations such as D.O.E (Environmental and Schedule Wastes), JKKP, MPS, Bomba, occupational safety & Health use and standards of exposure to Chemical Hazardous to Health Regulations 2000.
16. To exercise discretion on Company's information and safeguard company's interest at all times.
17. Report and highlight any irregularities, problems, weaknesses, and recommend improvements and related issues.
18. Any other duties from any departments and/or subsidiaries of Group that may be assigned to you from time to time.
19. To ensure the housekeeping enforcement of the whole plant by having "Gotong Royong" for 15 minutes on a daily basis.

Qualification:

1. Min 5 years experience in a Manufacturing environment.
2. Must possess manufacturing experience in the production of Road Furniture (steel beam, highway guardrails, street lighting poles, traffic signs), high mast, stadium or similar products.
3. In-depth knowledge and experience in street lighting production is essential.

ADVANTAGES:

1. Basic Salary can be up to RM 18,000
2. Travelling Allowance = RM60 ~ RM200 (Subject to distance)
