Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet organizational goals and customer requirements.
• Monitor daily manufacturing operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with the planning team to optimize resource allocation and production schedules.
• Optimize machine utilization, material flow, and workforce allocation.
• Monitor production targets, KPIs, and yield rates to meet or exceed goals.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure adherence to quality control procedures to maintain high product standards and customer requirements.
• Implement corrective and preventive measures to address quality issues.
• Collaborate with the quality team to minimize defects and reduce wastage.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

• Manage raw material inventory, ensuring availability while minimizing holding costs.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely supply chain activities.
• Track finished goods inventory to meet delivery schedules and customer demand.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify training needs for staff development.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct training programs to enhance employee skills and safety awareness.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Maintenance and Safety:

• Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained for optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance to reduce machinery downtime.
• Liaise with the engineering team for technical support and upgrades.
• Enforce workplace safety policies, complying with local regulatory standards.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce workplace safety standards in compliance with local laws and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement risk mitigation measures.
• Ensure environmental compliance, particularly regarding waste management and emissions.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify areas for process improvement and execute solutions to reduce costs.
• Promote innovation and adaptability to evolving industry trends and technologies.

Reporting and Budget Management:

• Prepare and present operational reports, including production metrics, cost analysis, and improvement initiatives.
• Manage operational budgets and control expenses to meet financial objectives.
