Job description

Production Planning & Management:

Develop and implement production schedules to meet delivery timelines and business objectives.
Monitor production output, ensuring adherence to quality standards and efficiency goals.
Optimize workflow and resource allocation to enhance productivity.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

Ensure all products meet company and industry quality standards.
Collaborate with quality control teams to minimize defects and implement corrective actions.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management:

Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Conduct training programs to enhance workforce skills and operational efficiency.
Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and address any performance issues.

Cost & Inventory Management:

Control production costs by managing labor, materials, and equipment usage effectively.
Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials.
Minimize waste and optimize resource utilization to maximize cost efficiency.

Process Improvement & Innovation:

Identify areas for process enhancements and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
Drive automation and technology integration to improve operational efficiency.
Develop and execute continuous improvement strategies for production excellence.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Postgraduate Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of experience in a production management role.
Strong expertise in production management, quality standards, lean manufacturing principles, and inventory management.
Proven ability to lead production teams and optimize manufacturing processes.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Well-versed in safety regulations and environmental compliance within manufacturing.
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills with a results-driven mindset.
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in street lighting production.
Candidates with experience in the road furniture industry, including steel beams for highway guardrails, street lighting poles, high masts, stadium masts, and traffic signs, are required.
