Production Manager

Job Responsibility

1. Developing and implementing effective production plans to meet sales and customer demand.
2. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, including managing workflows, monitoring performance, and problem-solving.
3. Analysing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity.
4. Coordinating with other departments, such as procurement and quality control, to ensure a seamless production process.
5. Managing and developing a team of production staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations Management.
2. Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management principles.
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions.
5. Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
7. Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry.
