Production Manager

Job Responsibility

• Developing and implementing effective production plans to meet sales and customer demand
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, including managing workflows, monitoring performance, and problem-solving
• Analysing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity
• Coordinating with other departments, such as procurement and quality control, to ensure a seamless production process
• Managing and developing a team of production staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations Management
• Language required: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management principles
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions
• Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry
