Our client is a leading international company specialising in the production of rubber components. This company is a reliable partner in the automotive and industrial sectors, providing sustainable, safe, comfortable, individual, and affordable solutions. The company is currently seeking a Production Manager for its plant based in Alor Setar.

Your new role

As a Production Manager, you will plan, organize, lead, and control all production areas and support departments to achieve plant quality, speed, cost, and people objectives. You will drive key performance indicators (KPIs), improve manpower utilization, and ensure schedule stability for maximum efficiency. You will also manage daily output, scrap, rework, and non-conforming components, and lead projects related to production improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business field.
• 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferable with rubber compounding experience.
• Proven track record in accomplishing objectives.
• Potential to be developed to lead the plant business operation.
• Held a leadership position for at least 5 years.
