Summary/Objective
The Production Associate’s role is responsible for operating production machines, improving product knowledge, and maintaining self-discipline.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities

• Ensures materials received are correct against Bill of Material (BOM).
• Improves in-process skills and productivity.
• Ensures all parts produced are of good quality and meet customer requirements.
• Updates findings and conducts buddy checking.
• Files inspection sheets, labels parts, and fills in production records.
• Enters all production hours into Labour Ticket Entry / Process Order Transaction System & Scrap Entry System.
• Scans in the entire parcel ID/Issue ID of the materials used into Shop Issue Assignment.
• Works on special projects as instructed by a superior.
• Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.
