Production and Process Engineer

About the role

This is a full-time Production and Process Engineer role at Sunshine Industries (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., located in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor. As a Production and Process Engineer, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the company's manufacturing processes and production lines.

What you'll be doing

• Optimise and enhance manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and procedures to meet customer demands and business objectives
• Analyse production data and identify areas for process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions
• Design and implement new equipment, systems, and technologies to streamline operations
• Provide technical support and training to production staff to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve production efficiency

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Production or Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Proficient in using production planning and control software, as well as data analysis tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
