Job Description – Product Manager

Team: Engineering

Designation: Product Manager

Job Role: Lead the strategy, roadmap, and development of AI-powered security products, driving innovation and customer value in threat detection and response.

Experience: 5+ years product management, 2+ in AI/ML or cybersecurity, B2B SaaS launch success.

Job Location: Cyberjaya

Shifts: Day Shift. However, the resource may need to work Flexible Hours to provide extended support & be available on call when required.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

1. Define product vision aligned with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, Zero Trust).
2. Develop roadmaps integrating AI/ML capabilities (threat detection, anomaly analysis, automated response).
3. Prioritize features using Agile, balancing technical feasibility, user needs, and ethical AI practices (bias mitigation, transparency).

AI-Driven Product Development

Collaborate with data scientists/engineers to build scalable AI models for threat intelligence and behavioral analytics.

Market & Customer Engagement

1. Engage customers to refine use cases (e.g., SOC efficiency, zero-day attack mitigation).
2. Conduct competitive analysis of AI-driven tools (XDR, SASE, cloud security).
3. Lead go-to-market strategies (pricing, training, stakeholder communication).
4. Partner with engineering, sales, and compliance teams for product launches and regulatory adherence.

Cross-Functional Leadership

1. Oversee and steer the product development process, ensuring compliance with budget, scope, and project timelines.
2. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure product success and integration.

Performance Monitoring

1. Track KPIs: threat detection accuracy, false-positive rates, and user adoption.
2. Analyze product data and feedback to iteratively improve behavior, automation, and alignment with user expectations.

Work Experience

5+ years in product management, including 2+ years in AI/ML or cybersecurity. Proven success in launching B2B SaaS/enterprise security products.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Essential Technical Skills

1. Expertise in AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and tools like SIEM/EDR.
2. Familiarity with network protocols (SDN, NFV) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
3. Agile mindset; proficiency in Jira, Miro, or Figma.

Desired Skills

1. Strategic thinker with strong communication for translating AI concepts.
2. Experience in threat intelligence platforms or MSSP environments.

Certifications

CISSP, PMP, or AI/ML-specific credentials.
