Product Sales Specialist - Orthopaedics based in Kuala Lumpur

What will you be doing?
- Initiates sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments, conducting sales presentations, understanding business needs, developing proposals, and closing sales.
- Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing additional solutions and services and/or developing new and innovative applications.
- Closes sales by establishing rapport with potential customers, expounding on the benefits of business unit solutions and service capabilities; overcoming objections, etc.
- Proactively keeps up to date on product knowledge and market trends by participating in educational opportunities offered by S&N or other appropriate channels.
- Accountable for customer satisfaction and providing high-quality service.
- Responsible for keeping commitments in a timely manner and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintenance of customer database.
- Familiarity with competitors’ strategies and product features/benefits; contributes information to market strategy by monitoring driven products and feedback from end users.
- Provides feedback on market information regarding competitors' activities, product pricing, SWOT in reports and sales meetings.
- Good territorial and sales management of all assigned accounts.
- Operating expenses to be kept to budget.
What will you need to be successful?
Success in the role requires a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization. Successful candidates would need the following:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Education.
- 3-5 years sales experience in Medical Devices.
- Knowledge of clinical segment/product platform preferred - Desirable.
- Sales task capability/experience - forecasting, pricing, product development, positioning, promotion, planning, portfolio management, surgeon advisory panel - Desirable.
