• We are looking for an experienced Product/Process Engineer who is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the transfer of manufacturing processes from the China site to the Penang site. This role ensures a seamless transition, process optimization, and compliance with quality standards. Hence, the candidates must have expertise in process engineering, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• The candidates will have the chance to travel abroad for an extended period of training.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end process of transferring product lines, including planning, execution, and validation.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment on technical specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Identify product/process improvement opportunities on current product ranges and initiate improvement projects to enhance manufacturability of the product.
• Deploy Six Sigma methodologies and coordinate Six Sigma projects to enhance process capability, yield, productivity, and product quality to exceed customers’ expectations.
• Provide technical expertise to support equipment installation, troubleshooting, and process validation activities.
• Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for process FMEA, process control plans, work instructions, and related documents to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
• Train operations and quality teams on new processes and equipment to ensure a smooth transition.
• Establish and maintain procedures consistent with certification of QMS, EMS, and OSH Management Systems/Standards.
• Perform work assigned from time to time.

Position Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in any engineering field with a minimum of 3 years working experience in the electronic/engineering-related industry.
• Knowledge in capacitor manufacturing is preferable.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment on process improvement and ability to make technical judgments and recommendations.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
