Key Responsibilities of the role:

Product Management & Development

  • Defining business requirements for product management and development teams, transforming insights into business decisions.
  • Tracking key product performance metrics, such as monthly/yearly revenue, product pipeline, and closed won/lost deals.
  • Reviewing performance reports, analyzing corrective actions, and assessing financial changes impacting the product P&L.
  • Leading strategic planning for new product development and enhancements, providing research and insights for long-term strategy.
  • Developing annual and quarterly plans for product teams to achieve objectives.
  • Managing and maintaining the Maxis Enterprise Product Development Roadmap, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, IT, and Customer Service teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Reviewing and planning budget requirements, monitoring variances, and taking corrective actions.
  • Managing the product lifecycle, ensuring smooth progression through all phases.

Lead and Manage Product Management & Development Teams

  • Assisting Product Managers in engaging departments to enhance product performance.
  • Ensuring proper product lifecycle management, including:
  • Go-to-market strategies (promotion and sales).
  • Managing product enhancements for continued relevance.
  • Defending and maintaining revenue.
  • Conducting regular reviews with Product Managers.
  • Supporting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tenders.

Complex Pricing

  • Setting and ensuring relevant, competitive pricing aligned with Product and Sales strategy.
  • Developing and implementing pricing strategies, including segment-specific approaches, with Product Management.
  • Maintaining pricing databases, a price book, and conducting regular pricing benchmarks.
  • Performing market analysis and presenting competitive pricing insights to management.
  • Creating pricing models that align with customer needs and sales strategies.
  • Providing pricing support to Sales and Strategic Customers, including inquiry responses.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Finance, and other teams to set competitive prices that generate agreed margins.
  • Overseeing the bid process to ensure RFPs and proposals are commercially and financially sound.
  • Liaising with various teams to suggest improvements in pricing structures for existing and new products.

Customer Specific Enterprise Solutions

  • Leading Enterprise Product engagement with technical teams in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting complex solutions.
  • Overseeing technology, vendor, and partner recommendations for non-standard solutions.
  • Defining technology direction for new services and functionalities.
  • Mapping business requirements to technical systems to align with Maxis Enterprise capabilities.
  • Reviewing and responding to detailed business requirement specifications.
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of technology investments to optimize enterprise architecture.
  • Educating strategic customers on technology trends and participating in deep architectural discussions to ensure successful solution deployment.

Key Decisions

  • Collaborating with the Head of Fixed and Head of Product to decide on the product strategy.
  • Defining the methodology and go-to-market plan for the Enterprise Product Team.
  • Ensuring new Enterprise products and services align with customer needs and objectives.
  • Setting the Enterprise Product pricing strategy for wholesale, SME, and enterprise segments.
  • Deciding on the technology direction for new Enterprise services.

Accountability

  • Developing operational plans, objectives, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure strategy execution and success.
  • Identifying areas for improvement within the business unit and across interfaces with other units for smoother operations.
  • Understanding the department's revenue contribution to track quarterly targets.
  • Creating plans to ensure the team meets its goals and objectives.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members for performance improvement and career development.


What do you need to have for this role?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related disciplines.
  • 10 to 15 years of total work experience with 3 to 5 years in Enterprise Technology.
  • Working knowledge of architecting Enterprise solutions, deploying Enterprise solutions in SME / Enterprise customers.
  • Experience in services bundling between all type of connectivity and Enterprise Services.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • You can showcase prior experience in product development and life cycle management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - being able to engage with the development team as well as with senior executives.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and drive efforts independently.
