Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Engage with multiple departments, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance, to ensure the effective execution of product strategies. • Partner with marketing teams to develop impactful marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
Agency and Vendor Management: • Manage relationships with creative agencies, media agencies, suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality execution of Above The Line (ATL) and Below The Line (BTL) programs for ongoing campaigns.
Budget Management: • Develop and oversee budgets for product development, marketing, and sales initiatives. • Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability and financial health.
Product Launch: • Plan and manage product launches, coordinating with sales teams and creating supporting marketing materials. • Track the success of product launches, making adjustments as needed based on initial performance.
Market Research and Consumer Insights: • Gather and analyze market research and consumer insights to guide product decisions. • Utilize data to pinpoint consumer needs and adapt products accordingly. • Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and marketing activities. • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Performance Evaluation: • Assess product performance against established KPIs. • Provide recommendations for product improvements or adjustments based on performance analytics. • Lead external team members (agencies & business partners) to achieve team KPI objectives.
Stakeholder Communication: • Communicate product strategies, performance updates, and other relevant information to the Line Manager, Marketing Manager, Head of Department, Senior Management, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements:
Experience in FMCG Personal Care Industry: The ideal candidate should have a strong background and experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry of at least 6 years, specifically within the personal care products segment/beauty if possible.
Product Management Expertise (advantage): The candidate should possess a proven track record in product management, preferably at a senior level.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute product strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
People Skills: Excellent people skills to manage external teams and cross-functional teams.
Market and Consumer Insights: A deep understanding of consumer behaviour, preferences, and market trends is essential for the role.
