  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and gaps.
  • Identifying Growth Opportunities: Assess and quantify areas for business expansion in high-growth and profitable markets.
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps tailored to market needs.
  • New Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regional product managers, engineering, operations, and procurement, to drive product development initiatives following structured phase-gate programs.
  • Product Launch & Commercialization: Lead the introduction of new products, updates, and extensions, ensuring that sales, profitability, and quality goals are met or exceeded.
  • Marketing & Demand Generation: Work with marketing and demand generation teams to craft and execute strategic plans, covering pricing, demand generation, and promotional strategies.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and feature enhancement requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Control, Industrial Automation, Process Engineering, HVAC, Business Management, or MBA.
  • 5+ years in product management, technical support, sales, engineering, industrial digitalization, or aftermarket services.
  • Proven track record in industrial companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement product strategies and business growth plans.
  • 30-50% travel in the first year, potentially decreasing over time.
  • Proficiency in Malay and English (mandatory); Mandarin is a plus.
