About The Team

The Associate Product Manager will work within the Shopee Marketplace Product team, contributing to the management and delivery of product features that address users’ pain points, drive growth, and improve user experience for Shopee's marketplace. As part of this team, you'll be working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue opportunities for growth and success. You'll have the opportunity to take on challenging and impactful projects, from ideation to launch, and to be exposed to various domain knowledge. Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the product lifecycle - from ideation/problem identification to requirement analysis, solution design, coordinate with internal stakeholders for the solution build, conduct testing, and work with a cross-functional team for the features launch.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, ensuring they are aligned with customer expectations and business objectives.
  • Proactively explore and extract potential product solutions in sync with local market business strategy.
  • Design and implement integrated product solutions under a fast-paced working environment.
  • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the User/Payment scope, aligning it with the overall company goals and objectives.
  • Initiate and collaborate with both regional and local teams to continuously review and improve the current product usability, functionality, and performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams in resolving customer escalations and complex user/payment scenarios.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide training and documentation to internal teams on user/payment processes and policies.
Requirements

  • Experience in managing the design, planning of product solutions, and product feature prioritization. Experience in UI/UX and Customer experience will be a plus point.
  • Equipped with e-commerce related products domain knowledge especially user experience and payment.
  • Demonstrated a track record for sense of ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills, clear logical thinking.
  • Well organized time management skills and high-quality task management skills.
  • Self-motivated, eagerness to self-learn and explore new challenges.
