Responsible for the overall operations in assigned manufacturing organization. Develops strategies, customer relationships, and specific programs in order to achieve business objectives.
Enhances semiconductor or related devices/equipment, processes, and handling systems to meet agreed upon objectives. Participates actively in new product introduction. Supports and implements the transition of products and manufacturing processes from prototype to full production.
Engages with product engineering, supply chain, and customers to understand end market requirements.
Meets manufacturability and yield requirements, and works in a cross-functional team to ensure the developed processes maintain high yield in a HVM environment, meeting quality and reliability industry standards for applications in data/telecommunication systems.
Supports customer return analysis, corrective actions, and FA report writing.
Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Conducts DOE for assembly processes optimization and data analysis to drive yield improvement.
Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
Establishes robust design systems and processes to manage manufacturing challenges, risks, and reduce new product cycle time to market.
