Product Engineer Sr

Purpose Statement: This role is responsible for maintaining equipment, validating processes, managing technical communication for products, designing and optimizing new product processes, and overseeing assigned manufacturing processes while adhering to quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Key Job Accountabilities

1. Develops manufacturing solutions and provides services that are innovative, high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy all stakeholders' (customer, manufacturing, material, agency, etc.) needs and requirements through an established area of technical expertise and mentorship of others within the site as it applies to their role.
2. Demonstrates effective communications (teleconference, email, and in-person) through interaction with customers (internal and external) regarding project technical subject matter.
3. Demonstrates expertise in the full Plexus Manufacturing process on small to mid-size projects, as it applies to their role.
4. Demonstrates the ability to work independently in multiple phases/processes of the manufacturing process, without direction from mentors or functional management, as it applies to their role.
5. Ensures accurate technical project documentation and up-to-date regional/site documentation in accordance with the quality, industrial standards, and change management procedures and guidelines, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications

1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or science is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is preferred.
2. Minimum five (5) years of related experience is required.
3. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

3. Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
4. Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills; Statistical Process Control software skills.
5. Intermediate cross-discipline development knowledge.
6. Strong understanding of structured design.
7. Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers.
8. Lab tool/test/measurement equipment experience preferred.
