Product Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Improves products' test processes and components used to meet agreed-upon product objectives. Work with supply chain partners to assess manufacturing cost optimization and new component technology opportunities.
2. Troubleshoot and solve problems independently for tester’s performance issues and PCA failures.
3. Ensure products manufacturing meet business requirements, including the product lifecycle along with execution of the discontinuation.
4. Participate in new product introduction, transfer or duplicate tester, enabling prototype testing and reliability testing during transition into production.
5. Perform Root Cause analysis and work with counterpart and quality team for customer's complaint on product's quality and performance within timeline, and fulfill customer's satisfaction.
6. Work with suppliers and/or material engineering on PCAs and components quality, cost, and delivery of parts.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or Mechatronics Engineering.
2. Able to troubleshoot independently.
3. Able to read and understand schematic diagrams.
4. Possess problem-solving and analysis skills.
5. Able to perform Root Cause Analysis for customer complaints.
6. Experience in a high mix low volume business nature is an added advantage.
