Plan and execute product and process development projects efficiently.
Oversee production trials, monitor processes, and coordinate recipes.
Assess new raw materials, additives, and process aids.
Recommend reformulation for non-compliant products.
Support business growth with product development.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Technical Services to meet market needs.
Provide formulation expertise to enhance product value.
Offer technical support for shortenings and margarines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in food science, food Technology, Biotechnology, Biology, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years working experience in edible fats and oil related field. Margarine experience is desirable.
Familiar with fats/oils chemistry, processing and texturizing know-how are highly desirable.
Experience in product development activities and managing projects.
Team management / leadership experience is highly desirable.
