Supervision of Receiving Inspection Activities:
Directly supervise and oversee Receiving inspection activities in accordance with the contract scope of work. 60% on site, 40% administration work.
Ensure that inspections align with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements by client.
Identify and address quality issues, non-conformance, and discrepancies between ordered and received materials.
Quality Control Materials/components Management:
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all materials and equipment conform to relevant industry standards, specifications, and regulations.
Perform inspections, material testing, and quality audits on received goods, ensuring that materials meet or exceed quality standards.
Review and approve product specifications, certifications, and test reports from suppliers.
Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including reports, compliance certifications, and inspection records.
Suppliers Sub Contract Compliance:
Ensure Suppliers adhere to applicable industry standards, specs, regulations, and contractual obligations. (e.g., ISO, ASTM, ANSI, EN, etc)
Address non-compliance issues promptly and work with Suppliers to implement corrective actions.
Project Scope Understanding:
Have a comprehensive understanding of the project scope of work, RFI, BOQ, MIR, BOM, including building construction projects, utilities, and infrastructure.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
•The supervisor maintains accurate records and track related to quality defects, material reliability, Supplier CAR, and customer complaints/NCR.
•Track corrective actions/improvements taken by supplier to prevent recurring issues.
•Proper usage of computerized systems available, ensures accurate documentation of new parts, materials, and services offered by the company.
Regulatory and Code of conduct Compliance:
•The supervisor ensures that company regulatory, code of conduct & internal standards requirements are met at all times.
•Ensure that supervisor understand quality standards required by government agencies, customers, and other legislation requirement. Create and maintain change control metrics/KPI and reporting.
•Proactively involve in Supplier/ Subcontractor Evaluation or Site Auditing visits (if needed).
•Able to draft reports of Procurement QC and present for decision making by Management.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
•Assisting in all ad-hoc tasks as per required.
