Our client is a top communications services provider in Malaysia, operating in the Asia-Pacific region. They are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to streamline procurement processes by creating and implementing improvements in strategic planning.

Your new role
You and your team will develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business objectives, cost reductions, optimise supplier performance, and mitigate risks in a rapidly evolving industry. You will lead supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and manage vendor relationships to drive cost-saving initiatives and enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with industry regulations and foster a high-performance culture within the procurement team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Added advantage: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on procurement experience: Sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, needs assessment, supplier selection, and risk management.
• Proven experience in leading a team and managing large-scale purchases.
