Our client is one of the leading beverage companies in the market.

Currently, they are looking for a Procurement Manager to join the business.

Job Description

1. Accountable for meeting order fulfilment of material requirements and services from Marketing, Sales, and other support departments, which flows through the source to contract requisition cycle.
2. This is done through proper planning, sourcing, and developing suppliers, including soliciting for quotations, evaluating quotations, and negotiating for the best terms and prices, and selecting the successful vendors for the delivery supply of all types of materials and services through our Global Tool.
3. Develop and implement a purchasing action plan for the local category with the aim of realizing a sustainable competitive advantage.
4. Monitor supplier performance to ensure contract compliance is guaranteed and operational issues are solved.
5. Proactively approach, convince, and advise both internal stakeholders and suppliers, using own knowledge of the products and/or services.
6. Manage governance and control programs to ensure business continuity, protect company assets, and comply with corporate and regulatory policies.
7. Continuously improve the Procurement process by interfacing between supplier and stakeholder.

The Successful Applicant

1. Diploma/Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management related field.
2. Knowledge of Procurement practices, indirect purchases, demand markets, negotiation concepts.
3. Minimum 5-7 years in FMCG industry with working experience in procurement or supply chain management, at least 3 years managerial experience in Procurement.
4. Nice to have: SAP system (MM) module.
