Procurement Manager

Job Description:

1. Procurement Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely acquisition of quality goods and services at competitive prices. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and vendors.
2. Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or cost.
3. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure the efficient management of stock to prevent shortages or excesses. Implement inventory control procedures and optimize stock turnover.
4. Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with company objectives.
5. Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective solutions.
6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
7. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the procurement team. Provide guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
8. Document Preparation and Review: Prepare and review all business documents related to procurement and supply chain activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements. Ensure all documents comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of all procurement and supply chain transactions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Salary Range:

• From RM10,000 to RM12,000
