Job description

Duties:

  • Develop Group procurement policies, process, documentation, forms and systems and ensure that the best practices are properly communicated, executed and operationalized at Group level.
  • Partnering with Business Units to ensure implementation of standard procurement policies, procedures and systems in all Business Units.
  • Provide direction and put in place processes (e.g. demand planning and capturing of procurement projection, etc.) for the different cross-functional strategic sourcing teams (Property-Construction, Hospitality, etc.) to consolidate procurement leveraging on Group size and synergies.
  • Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of internal processes in Procurement and leverage on synergies between different Business Units in the Group.
  • Develop and enhance procurement competencies of Procurement team to ensure value-add services are provided to all Business Units.
  • Prepare strategic spend analytics reporting by using a range of standard methodologies and across multiple datasets to provide high quality and evidence-based procedural recommendations or business advice to achieve cost savings or avoidance.
  • Extend support to Business Unit procurement specialists in vendor identification, negotiation and evaluation, and provide best practices and periodic market intelligences to increase the procurement capabilities of the Business Units (e.g. involvement in negotiation/ T&C and provide advice to BU on the best approach/vendor identification/widen vendors pool for better best pricing).
  • Lead and manage the Project Request for Proposal (RFP) aimed at modernizing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee sustainability policies and strategies for the Group purchasing.
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of suppliers and service providers to ensure that they meet sustainability criteria, including respect for human rights and environmental standards.
  • To acquire and analyze critical responses and data from suppliers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance & Accounting or any related discipline

Minimum Length of Working Experience:

  • 8 – 10 years of related experience
  • Extensive experience with Strategic Sourcing with managing stakeholders’ s team or experience in managing procurement team.
