About the role:
We seek an experienced Procurement Executive to join our team at Eng Sheng Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturing and logistics company based in Shah Alam, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving efficient and cost-effective procurement processes to support our operations.

What you'll be doing:

1. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing
2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and fulfill purchasing requirements
3. Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and expenditures
4. Participate in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies
5. Monitor supplier performance and liaise with them to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
6. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
7. Assist with inventory management and control

What we're looking for:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the FMCG & manufacturing industry
2. Strong negotiation and contract management skills
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
4. Proficient in data analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making
5. Thorough understanding of procurement principles, regulations, and best practices
6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
