Procurement Executive (Construction)

SNJ Engineering and Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Procurement Executive (Construction) to join our dynamic team in Desa Parkcity, Kuala Lumpur. As a Procurement Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process for our construction projects, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and services to support our project delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and secure competitive pricing
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, orders, and contracts in a timely manner
• Monitor and track the status of procurement activities, identify and resolve any issues that may arise
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure the availability of necessary materials and services
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation
• Review invoices to ensure they match purchase orders and delivery receipts. Flag discrepancies and coordinate with the finance team for resolution.

What we're looking for

• At least Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar procurement role, preferably within the construction industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results
• Thorough understanding of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and industry regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities effectively
