Procurement Executive (Automotive)

As we embark on our rapid expansion, we are eagerly seeking talented individuals to join our team as Procurement Executive to provide unrivalled support to our clients in the automotive industry.

As a Procurement Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing our company's purchasing activities and ensuring that all procurement processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
2. Identify and source reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
3. Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and continuously evaluate their performance
4. Monitor and forecast upcoming procurement needs based on production plans and market trends
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and provide support and guidance
6. Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
7. Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery and invoicing processes
8. Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing
9. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function
10. Ensure all procurement activities are in compliance with legal and ethical standards
11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities and supplier information

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably in the automotive industry
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills
4. Knowledge in SAP is an added advantage
5. Knowledge of supply chain procedure
6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
7. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
8. Fluent in English and Malay, both written and spoken
