Procurement Executive (12-months contract)

Job type: 6-months contract basis

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the procurement of IT-related goods and services, as well as indirect procurement categories such as office supplies, professional services, facilities, and other non-IT purchases. The role involves vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement process optimization to support the organization’s operational and strategic needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • IT & Indirect Procurement Management: Source, evaluate, and procure IT hardware, software, and services, as well as indirect procurement items such as office supplies, marketing services, HR services, and facility management.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with IT and indirect procurement vendors, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Contract & Price Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favourable terms for the company across IT and indirect procurement categories.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Work closely with finance and relevant teams to manage procurement budgets and control costs.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations across all procurement categories.
  • Process Optimization: Improve procurement processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices in IT and indirect procurement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, finance, HR, marketing, facilities, and other departments to understand business needs and provide procurement solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Keep updated on procurement trends, emerging technologies, and cost-effective solutions to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Purchase Order & Documentation: Manage purchase orders, vendor agreements, and procurement documentation accurately across IT and indirect procurement categories.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT and/or indirect procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, software, licensing agreements, and indirect procurement categories.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement projects.
  • Strong understanding of vendor management and sourcing strategies.
