PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

About the role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Procurement Executive to join our growing team at AIK CHEONG COFFEE ROASTER SDN BHD. In this full-time position based in Cheng Melaka, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement processes and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials and services to support our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies to support the company's production and operational needs
• Sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on factors such as cost, quality, delivery, and reliability
• Negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to achieve the best possible terms and conditions
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address procurement-related challenges
• Continuously seeking opportunities to improve procurement processes and drive cost savings
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in data analysis and financial management to optimize purchasing decisions
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate complex procurement challenges
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools to streamline processes
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
