Procurement Associate (Purchaser)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Contract: 3 months with PERSOLKELLY
Industry: Transportation
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: RM2,500 – RM4,000 (Based on experience & qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out procurement processes according to SOPs to meet company goals for quality, cost, and delivery.
2. Handle purchase requisitions in line with strategy (bidding, repeat orders, OEM, PGPA, direct negotiation).
3. Prepare vendor selection forms and quotations via SAP Ariba.
4. Manage bidding processes including sample requests, evaluations, site visits, and purchase order issuance.
5. Negotiate with vendors on pricing, timelines, warranty, and product lifecycle.
6. Track and ensure timely delivery; liaise with logistics on goods received.
7. Maintain documentation and ensure proper 5S compliance.

Who We’re Looking For:

1. A Degree holder in Business Admin, Engineering, Transportation, Logistics, or related fields.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement.
3. Solid understanding of procurement processes and integrity in handling vendor relations.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP Ariba.
5. Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
