Responsibilities and Duties

Procurement Role

  1. Issue PO to suppliers and follow up on pending POs
  2. Get updated price list from suppliers
  3. Check on stock availability with suppliers
  4. Update costing when necessary. Follow up on price protection for on-hand stocks
  5. Co-ordinate payment to vendors
  6. Liaise with vendor on RMA claim
  7. Update sales team on arrival status for open POs
  8. Co-ordinate the creation of new suppliers in EPB system
  9. Track and follow up with rebates from suppliers

Inventory Role

  1. Create new item code in EPB system
  2. Check on stock level and perform replenishment
  3. Run NWI report and send to Shops ICs
  4. Resolve inventory issues with warehouse (like PLU code difference, retail packaging damaged etc.)
  5. Manage supplier return goods
  6. Update airport shop ICs on items status change
  7. Send sell thru reports to non-consignment suppliers

Shipping Role

  1. Obtain approval on shipment booking from suppliers
  2. Co-ordinate incoming shipments and consolidation of cargo
  3. Freight rate comparison
  4. Follow up on the shipping documents from suppliers
  5. Follow up on the clearance on incoming shipments with our forwarder
  6. Submit documents to get approval to ship out goods
  7. Provide all shipping documents to warehouse
  8. Resolve discrepancies like short-shipment, packaging damaged, missing quantity in opened carton
  9. File claim with suppliers for all the discrepancies

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in procurement role
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook and office applications
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
