About The Job

Responsible to carry out process design of systems and plants according to design guidelines and industry standards on development, standardization or customer projects.

Key tasks:

1. Collaborate with sales group to generate mass and energy balance, main equipment list, specification of equipment, P&ID’s & functional descriptions for appointed projects.
2. In cooperation with the project manager and lead engineers, organize and execute the process engineering activities for appointed projects including specification of components and instruments.
3. Detailed design of the P&ID / Systems based on the Business Unit flow chart / general process design.
4. Clarify process strategy and requirements with bid owner and customer.
5. Participate in external meetings with customers to discuss/clarify process issues and engineering activities.
6. Participate in commissioning & performance tests and assist in troubleshooting.
7. Provide optimal process design and provision of detailed information to the bid team.

What you know?

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering.
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience.
3. Basic knowledge on valves, electrical motor, instrumentation, automation, and structural engineering.
4. Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
5. A structured and systematic approach person with project management exposure.
6. Experience in edible oil processes will be an added advantage.
